Companies in start-up phase of the Province of Rome have access to bank loans through guarantee funds made available by the Rome Chamber of Commerce, which acts as a guarantor to the bank granting the loan to the entrepreneur. It happens very often that in the start-up phase, entrepreneurs have difficulty in accessing bank loans because they do not have the availability of collateral assets. It is for this reason that the Rome Chamber of Commerce provides a fund of € 10 million to secure the loans that banks (contracted) grant to employers who make investments.
