We don't know everything.
The future can not be predicted, but we can measure and respond to the present.
The closer our vision gets to a provable fact, the more we are just describing the present in future tense, result, doing what worked yesterday will most likely not work in the future. Oops!
The more we come to understand the future, the more we will alienate those left in the present. Are you prepared to be unpopular?
Ever ask yourself, "Why do we have all these mindless executive meetings run by soulless tie wearing drones who seem to value busyness more then productivity". Did that strike a cord? Read on.
With the exception of a few large companies and rebellious startups who see the future, 99.99% of everyone else are stuck in the "safe" present. "Let's just do what worked yesterday more vigorously". Companies both large and small are preparing for the largest carve in world history as the seeds of creative destruction are sown with whispers around the office water cooler "We really will do it this time, let's start this sucker what do we have to lose?!" It is a rebellious trickle now, but watch as the door is open, and more press covers the successful shift to new economy models. It will be the running of the bulls.
